Young girl students of a college in Udupi district had complained that three of their college mates had recorded videos of them using the restroom.
Whether or not this issue has a communal angle to it, is something that will unfold only during investigation.
Rashmi Samant, a resident of Udupi had posted a comment on social media demanding justice for the victims in the case. The next day, Udupi police landed up at her home late at night, asking questions about her “identity”.
