Advocate Jagannath has alleged that temples in Tamil Nadu have been looted of wealth and land of over Rs 4000 crore by officials of the state Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department (HR&CE).
In a writ petition filed before the Madras High Court, he has pleaded for a Special Investigation Team to be set up to probe the same.
